Retired Army. Josh retired in June 2018 from a 20 year career in the United States Army. Josh was an aviation officer who served in 13 different assignments across eight States, the Republic of Korea (three years), and a combat tour in Iraq (ten months). Josh served in several different capacities, to include: aviation, operations, intelligence, human resources, logistics, education, organizational evaluation, and organizational leadership. His notable assignments included Battalion Commander of 4th Battalion, Army Reserve Careers Division; Chair for the Department of Military Science (Army ROTC) at both Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Prescott, AZ) and Georgia State University; Inaugural Commander, 1-214th Aviation Regiment (Air Ambulance); Aviation Organizational Inspection Team Leader, U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM); and Transportation Analyst, 3rd Corps Support Command (COSCOM) in Balad, Iraq. Josh was recognized with numerous awards and decorations, to include the Bronze Star Medal (for service in Iraq) and the Senior Army Aviator aeronautical designation.

Education. Josh pursued and successfully accomplished extensive civilian education across a diverse set of disciplines, to include one bachelor’s degree (architecture), three master’s degrees (aeronautical science, management, and military art and science), and one PhD (post-secondary and adult education). Similarly, Josh’s transcript of military education is extensive, consisting of 19 courses across several areas of military operations, to include: Command and General Staff College (CGSC) Intermediate Level Education (ILE); Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE); UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter Instructor Pilot Course; and the U.S. Army Airborne School.

Philanthropy. On 03 May 2014, Josh began to pursue his passion as a Philanthropist by founding and leading The Enduring Charity Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation that helps individuals, for- profit businesses, and other non-profit organizations create sustainable philanthropic solutions through the establishment of charitable endowments.
